HDR students who do not receive Creative Cloud access on July 1, but require access to the updated software suite for study purposes, can log a request via IT support. On 1 July 2019, all full time, part time and casual staff and HDR students who currently use Creative Cloud programs, will be able to access the new Adobe Creative Cloud software suite on UQ computers. Phase two: Staff receive access to new Creative Cloud – 1 July 2019 Access instructions will also be provided in each lab. Students can use the updated Creative Cloud programs in the same way, signing in to Adobe Creative Cloud by entering uq.edu.au in the email field, and then being redirected to the UQ sign in page. You will then be redirected to a UQ sign in page, where you can log in using your UQ username and password. To use the updated Creative Cloud software on these devices, open the program you wish to use and sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud by entering uq.edu.au in the email field. Any outdated Adobe software will be removed from computers in these spaces. The Adobe update will occur in three phases, with the majority of changes taking place in the next month. Higher-degree by research (HDR) students who have an identified need for Creative Cloud software, as determined by their faculty or institute, will also receive a licence for the updated Creative Cloud. These changes will also give you more flexibility, should you need to work from home, in teaching spaces, or across multiple devices. The new version links to your staff login instead of your computer, and ensures that all staff can use the most up-to-date Creative Cloud software (such as InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro) going forward. UQ is moving to the latest version of Adobe’s Creative Cloud.
